Toys for children in Haiti

Time and again we receive not just textiles but also used toys at our sorting facility in Schattdorf. We give those in good condition to the central aid supplies facility, a project of the '3HF Stiftung' foundation in Switzerland. They in turn pass on the toys to needy families with children in Haiti.

Textile recycling as a topical subject for study

In collaboration with the Practical Environmental Protection Foundation (known by its German acronym PUSCH ), TEXAID has compiled a study dossier to teach middle school and high school students about the role played by used clothing in the global use of resources.

TEXAID in western Switzerland is moving
