TEXAID at the Copenhagen Fashion Summit conference

The industry leaders came together once again in the Danish capital for the 10th Copenhagen Fashion Summit conference (15 and 16 May 2019). TEXAID was also there as an exhibitor and, with TEXAID Retail Solutions, presented its tailored recycling services for the entire textiles industry – for retailers, fashion brands, producers and suppliers.

KOLPINGFAMILIE WOLFENSCHIESSEN – DAIRY COW PROJECT IN INDIA

The Kolpingfamilie Wolfenschiessen has carried out street collections on behalf of TEXAID in the past. Today there are more than ten TEXAID bins in the Nidwalden region collecting in favour of the association. By selling used clothes, TEXAID generates funds which go to its six participating aid agencies, as well as to numerous regional organisations, including the Kolpingfamilie Wolfenschiessen.

SAMARITAN ASSOCIATION OF THE GLARNERLAND – IMPORTANT RESOURCES FOR THE ASSOCIATION’S ACTIVITY

A number of TEXAID used clothes bins in the cantons of Glarus and St. Gallen raise money for the Samaritan associations in the Glarnerland. By selling used clothes, TEXAID generates funds which go to its six participating aid agencies, as well as to numerous regional organisations. These include the Samaritans of the Glarnerland, with 13 associations in the canton of Glarus and three in the canton of St. Gallen.

It addresses various aspects and topics concerning used clothes collection and recycling. The Annabelle editorial team also held a fashion shoot at the sorting facility in Schattdorf.
