44 per cent less CO2

Last year, TEXAID positively developed its commitment to an environmentally friendly corporate culture. For already the 6th time in a row, TEXAID received the Gold Label from Swiss Climate.

TEXAID is continuously expanding its sustainability strategy and is reducing its consumption of resources. It has set itself the target of reducing its self-caused CO2 emissions.

Thanks to a range of targeted measures, 44 per cent of CO2 per tonne of collected used clothing has been saved as part of the Swiss Climate certification since 2013. There is a year-on-year decrease of 14 per cent. TEXAID managed to reduce its greenhouse gases in the transport, consumables and shuttle services categories.

The CO2 balance was recorded by Swiss Climate. It is based on data that the Société Générale de Surveillance SA has verified.
