MUSEUM TALK IN ST. GALLEN ON THE SUBJECT OF TEXTILE RECYCLING
On 13 August 2020, the textile museum in St. Gallen will host a museum talk on the subject “Textile recycling with a future?” as part of the “Material Matters” exhibition.
Brigitt Egloff, lecturer and member of the research group products & textiles at Lucerne University, will give visitors an insight into the “Texcycle” project, which the Lucerne School of Art and Design has launched in cooperation with TEXAID and Coop. The aim of the project was to analyse the processes of recycling used textiles and to optimise them for new areas of application.
